Caution for Russia. Russia is on the Ministry of External Affairs travel-advisory list: an advisory of 26 July 2026 covers employment on commercial vessels in the Black Sea region. On 11 September 2025 the MEA spokesperson also strongly urged Indian nationals to stay away from offers to join the Russian army. We accept only civilian employer requirements backed by verifiable employer documents, work visas and employment contracts, and we decline anything linked to military, security or conflict-zone work.
