Data Protection and Candidate Privacy Under DPDPA 2023

Green Outdoors Global Pvt Ltd is the Data Fiduciary, in the language of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDPA"), for the personal data we collect through recruitment, enquiries and our websites. The DPDPA's duties on businesses are being brought into force in stages; until then, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules apply, and we follow the DPDPA's principles voluntarily.

What this means for candidates and employers

Personal data is collected for specific, disclosed purposes, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination and deployment support, and is not used beyond those purposes without appropriate basis. Participation in our recruitment process is voluntary, and candidates may withdraw at any point before deployment.

Your rights

Under the DPDPA, individuals have rights over their personal data, including the right to access information about how it is processed and to raise a grievance if they believe it has been mishandled (these duties on businesses take effect in stages; we already honour them voluntarily).
